O.K. Guys

Gonna hang it out there again.Only reticle I've ever hunted/shot with is the duplex type except for this year I shot through a friend and his sons Burris scopes with the drop compensator. In yall opinion which reticles work the best and why?

Thanks,

Rock

It all depends on the type shooting you'll be doing.  For most hunting, I prefer the simple duplex design, or even better, the German #4 reticle, which is more visible in low light.

Mainly shooting 30-06 in 150-165 grn

Thanks,

Rock

The #4 and the #4a are almost the same.  The pattern is the same but, the spacing is a little differant.

When it comes to non illuminated reticles.

German no1.

Course enough to bee seen in really poor ligth.

Fine enogh to aim on exteremely small targets.

course enogh to fast been seen while shooting on running game

For close in brush shooting I really like my heavy turkey plex.  Very easy to find against a dark background & depending on your distance I just cover where I want to shoot with the circle - don't even use the crosshairs in the centre.  Note that I specified close in brush shooting.
