 El Yucateco brand hot sauce (from Old Mexico) will kick you in the.....caboose...  Del Molcajete will kick yer ass....from Michoacan, Mexico.....real tasty!  |

Cholula is a nice mild hot sauce, my son put me onto it. For a step up I use Cool Runnings ghost pepper sauce. Not as crazy as you would think but pretty good. For diluted extra hot I have a bottle of Blair’s Mega Death. Too hot to for me to use straight, but good in chili and salsas.

Mega Death is 550,000 Scoville so that sucker must be off the charts.

It’s all in the combining of ingredients. Some of the ultra hot ones add tiny amounts of pure capsaicin to the mix.
