Well I thought I'd share my cheap way into the Archery Target field.  Thanks to Sgt. D for his design, sorry didn't see a patent on them so I stoleded it! lol  use the Blue Foam insulation board you get from lowes, sheet of its around $13.00.  Cut into 4 equal sections and tape together. and shoot away!

Cheap and last a while too!

This was right after I made it and have since switched my practicing over with muzzy 100gr 4 blades with the practice blades and its still holding up well.  Just keep changing your Point of aim and you should be fine.  As you can see theres a lot of target to hit  I have probably 2-300 hits on it now.  it will probably need to be replaced at around the 500 hit mark. But for a total investment of around $15.00. Its worth it

May have to give it a try.  I think my Black Hole ran about $60?  I like the idea of multiple aiming points.  Gets old shooting at the same spot all the time.  What distances are you shooting from?

Ya know the block claim  to fame been no pass threw, well here a few months back I had a pass threw I wish I would have take a pic. It has been only one time right in the center of target. maybe had 600/700 arrows shot @ it.

i took a bunch of those drop ceiling boards , i think they are 2' x 4' , and put 2 side by the next 2 turned the opposite way and used a old 2x6 to frame around them with a 3 inch wide 1/2 inch thick wood strip around them to hold it all together. Then cut some round circles , probly 10 inches round for my targets . Had some old bingo ink bottles , green & red , painted up a bunch of circles and a month later still shoting.

I don't see how it stops it. I blow thru a sheet of 3/4 inch ply wood and 45 yards.

My dad always used hay bales.  When we lived in Kenya (when I was little) my dad was quite awesome with a bow. I remember one instance where his shot a running zebra from the roof of our moving datsun pickup. Hit it three out of three times. Another time he got a warthog from probably 75 yards.

Originally designed for dart players but works great for archers too.  Just tape to your favourite backstop and you're ready to go.  Passthroughs?  Who cares! Helps sharpen your focus and improves your aim.

thats because its up against the car tire.

I use a block and they wear out over time but it takes a Long Long time.  This might not  cost effective long term even though its cheap initially.
