Hi; I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to measure their Weaver Classic Extreme 2.5-10x50mm scope objective bell. I need the outside dimension in order to purchase the scope and proper ring height. A dial caliper would be perfect for the job if anyone out there can help I'd much appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

The best I can do is give you the specs out of a competitor's catalog I recently received. They have it listed at 57mm.

I don't have the Classic, but the Grand Slam measures 56mm. If no one comes up with a classic for measure it looks like between 300S&W and myself that 56-57mm may be what you need. Good Luck! Unless you get the adjustable obj.

Thanks guys so much for the info. This scope looks like one of those deals that don't come around very often. Too bad SWFA is sold out. I'd like to have got in on that 110% price deal. But even at the price I had to pay....it's a great deal. I guess all the buyers for this scope wiped out their high 30mm Sig. Zee rings too. Anyway thanks again for the time spent to give me this info. Have a great day. |

I just bought two of these scopes one in 50 and one in 56.The rep said he ran out of the extra high rings for the 56 bell and that the high rings would work on the 50 bell.I bought a Savage 300 WSM and need the extended rings.Just curious to see how they work since my friend said these were the best deal and compares them to be up to 4200 standards.
