Hope I am in the correct forum.

I crawled all over Google and the search here, but really can't find much of anything mentioned about this scope.

What is the good, bad, and ugly about this scope:

Weaver grand slam 10x 40 with target turrets.  Just what to learn about this scope, or how it compares to other scopes.

Thanks.

It is a decent scope but for that price range I would step up to the SuperSniper10x.  Its a little more liked round these parts.  However the weaver like I said is a good decent scope.  have you checked the SS out?   Also Bushnell has a 10x in the 3200 elite line up.  I am not sure on the Weaver but the Bushnell does not have an AO but the SS does.

Thanks,

I have a SS 10x, I was hoping someone would have more information about the Weaver scope.  It is a grand slam, so it should have good glass, but I was wondering if there is any more knowledge floating around out there about it?

Oh ok,  I have only had experience with one Weaver Grand Slam and it was good from what I remember.  Good glass for sure.  I know there are some Grand Slam users here that will chime in shortly.  Good luck on your quest for information.

Some of the Grand Slam scopes were made with inferior parts when Meade decided to cut corners. The original Weaver Grand Slam is a very good scope,my scope was good, clear bright glass however, the problem was the numbers wore off rather quickly and the rubber came unglued.

So is the one that SWFA sells the inferior product?

I have a lot of questions about the scope, but can not find anyone with any information on it.  There is no fixed power 10 x grand slam on Weaver's website.  No description of the "target turrets".  Nobody that has given any feedback on the scope anywhere on the web.
Does anyone know anything about this scope?

Excellent
Really is a nice scope.  About twice the scope of the super sniper, as far as clarity and weight savings.  I still like the SS, but the Weaver is a good choice if you need a 10x that is not so cumbersome.  Does have nice click adjust target knobs, and it is indeed a fixed 10x.  Not sure why it is not listed on the Weaver website anymore.  At least all I found were variable powers in the Grand Slam line.
