I have a kahles ZF-84 10x42 Scope, BDC turrett 7.62 168gr Federal Match. I am not sure of the correct hold point when zeroing this scope. Sight in at 100M, 200M, 500M (the center of reticle), etc. Those familiar with this scope know of the long, y shaped reticle with hold points from 100M (at the top) down to 1000M (at the bottom). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you are using a BDC type turret the center X of the crosshair would always correspond to point of impact for the distance you dial in. You need to get it on paper at say 25 then go to 100 then work wiht it at different distances to see how well it corresponds to your rifle and load. The reticle may be built with hold over marks for elevation or windage but if it has a BDC dial when you are using the dial you aim wiht the center X |
