Hi,  This is my first post,  Although I'm not new to this site.  I've browsed this site quite a lot and have received good info from this site.  Anyways, I'm turning to you all for some help.

I just recieved a BSA Rd30 for Christmas.  I  finally got around to installing it on my ar15 and seem to be having some problems sighting it in.  I went to the range to try and sight it, (left bore sight at home)  at 50 yds.  The shots were consistently low, way low.  I had the elevation screw turned all the way out and it still shoots low.  When I got home I got my bore sight out and tried to bore sight it.  Sure enough, I could not get it to line up.  Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the sight?  BTW this is my first Red dot.  Thanks for all of your help
