I am looking for a good low light hunting scope with a simple ballistic reticle. I don't want a lot of lines in the reticle. I am looking at 3 scopes in the $600.00 price range. They are:

Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x50 w/ Boone & Crockett reticle

Sightron SII Big Sky 3-12x42 w/ HHR reticle

Burris Signature 3-12x44 w/ Ballistic Plex reticle

I would like some input on my choices as far as quality and performance. It will be going on a Savage ML and my shots will not be longer than 300 yds.  Any other scope suggestions will be appreciated. I don't need an AO scope.

Thanks, Barry

Doesn't Nikon make something specifically for a MZ?

Anyone know where the Omega falls within Nikon's line-up?  How does it compare to Monarch?

The elite has the rainguard feature which is great and the DOA reticle is similar to a BDC reticle.  The Trophy is cheaper but has not got the rainguard.  Good luck and welcome to the OT forum
