I have the burris xtr mediums (1/2in) on my FNAR will that fit a 50mm>>??

You can always try calling Burris C/S they will probably have an answer.  As far as the style of rings I like the Burris Signature series with the plastic offset inserts.  They do two things;
 
1.  Prevent scope rings.
2.  The offset inserts provides a method to tighten up any skewing (elevation & windage)caused by the base to receive fit.

I know they will mount to the picatenny rail it becomes and issue of the barrell hitting the scope. Maybe i could call and ask thanks...
