My roommate recently bought this scope at the Army - Navy store. It's over powered for his needs and now he wants to sell it. Problem is, we cant identify the model. I am thinking it might be a knock-off, but I can't be sure. Maybe the optics guru's around here can help.It sure would be appreciated
Here are some pics of everything he got:

On the bottom of the tube, towards the back rings. You will see a model number, date code and where the scope was manufactured.   If it is an authentic scope,  the information will be there.

There doesn't appear to be any markings there. Should I safely assume its a knockoff?

There has been quite a few of them being sold on E-Bay. Better to purchase from a reputable company.
