Hi, I'm trying to find a good scope for my gamo shadow 1000 in .177. I use to have a cheap powerline 3-9x32 scope but it won't zero in because of the recoil. I'm thinking about getting the BSA 3-12x40 scope. What would you guys recommend? Thanks.

My Beeman came with a 4x32 Bushnell Sportsview.  It is equipped with target knobs and an AO.  It works suprisingly well.  The factory zero was dead on.  I played with the adjustments a little bit when I first got it about four years ago.  Since then I have not messed with anything as it is dead on to take out squirrels in my backyard peacan tree.
