Wanting an affordable scope for a 10/22 for plinking.

Preferred illuminated and Parallax adjustable.

I found this Hawke I considered:

Hawke Sport Optics HD IR Series 2-7x32 AO Rifle Scope, Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 1 Tube

Rifle scope 2-7x magnification 32mm objective lens (adjustable objective) 1 tube 1/4 MOA (1/4 click value @ 100 yds) Mil-dot reticle (red-green illuminated) 10 yds to infinity parallax adjustment 52.5 ft to 17.7 ft field of view @ 100 yds 3.5 eye relief 15.8 oz. 11.3 long Matte black • Other features: Shockproof Fogproof Waterproof 5 red & 5 green brightness settings Etched-glass reticle
This scope has an etched-glass reticle, which is superior to a wire reticle because it's etched by a laser and is much more precise.

Or this one was suggested to me:

UTG 3-9x32 Compact CQB Bug Buster AO RGB Scope with Med. Picatinny Rings, 2" Sunshade

The UTG is a bit shorter, but it may be a wire reticle I do not know, while the Hawke has an etched glass reticle. I always figured UTG was cheaper than most others in terms of quality.

I wondered if the Hawke would get better light transmission too.

The UTG is $90 and comes with rings, the Hawke is $110 and does not come with rings.

Any advice? Thanks! Wink

I also like the UTG knobs better but am thinking overall it isn't a nice.

Don't see a post edit function so I guess I need to post again to add stuff. I forgot to mention the 10/22 is going in an Archangel 556 stock with a SR22 barrel.
