I just ordered a Mossberg MVP .223 bolt and I was trying to decide on an optic to put on it.  I came accross this and it caught my interest....mainly because of the reticle...I really like the reticles with the crosshairs and the dot in the middle.

Now my biggest concern is the quality of this scope...I primarily have alot more expensive optics(Trijicon, IOR) than this so I am a little weary since I really can find any reviews on these.

Here is the link to the one I am interested in

Whats your budget for this optic?  Whats its primary uses going to be?  We can recommend from there what would be the best bang for your buck.  That said,  I used this scope in 2.5-10x50 (discontinued) on an AR 223 for a long while and it worked out well, the only issue I had was the dot covered up to much for me to get good groups like I wanted -

Mainly just target shooting at the range...steel targets, blowing up some cans and fruit..lol

I actually have 3 of those Vortex's in the 2.5-10 version and have them on 2 17HMRs and a 10/22.

I still have not shot with them so I cant attest to their performance yet

The only thing I liked the Hawke over the Vortex was the 30mm tube

I would get something with a finer aiming point.

Whats your budget?

I can only suggest what I use on my Savage model 12, Mueller 8-32x40 target dot $249, has better glass then my Nikon Monarch. One of the best low cost scopes is the Mueller APV 4-14x44 cost approx. $129.

I really don't care for the reticle.

I like the reticle on the one I listed just not sure of "Hawke's" and their performance
