It warmed up to 16 degrees in SE MI yesterday. It was nice enough we didn't use a shanty and moved around a lot until we started hitting the sun fish. We ended up with over thirty between two of us.

they have shanty's though, once you get inside and fire up the stove you can fish in shorts and a t shirt

I'll be using the shanty this weekend. They make a nice base camp to warm up and have a snort.
I've been at this other site for years and used my other screen name from back then. Paradise, Tahquamenon...........it's all the same to me. They are both in my favorite areas to be within six hours drive.

I joined that site a little over a year before here. I think I tried using Tahqua there but I was denied for some reason. I tried using Tahqua over at the campfire and was denied, too.
As you can see from the number of posts at both, I much prefer O.T.Smile
