I know I'm gonna get beat up for this statement, but I feel like a punching bag todayCrutch. I never really cared for the 94 action; it just doesn't have that lever action feel to it like the 92s and 73s. I even like the 86 action. I just think the 94 action is artificial for a lever action. That's just me though.

The 94s were not as smooth as those others.  Or the Marlins.  I like the pre-64s though.

A gun shop here was going out of buisness and had a 1886 Browning short rifle (or was it a carbine?), and I picked it up for $800. Hasn't had a box of shells put through it. It's willed to a friend of mine, unless I can get $1,200 for it. But it aint for sale.

Is that a copy of the Winchester Mod. 42; which I believe is a 410Ga. version of the Winchester Mod. 12?
