This is a recent trail cam image from Ron@swfa.com from his East Texas property.  For those out of state, East Texas bucks are typically smaller (antler wise) than South Texas deer.  They have beautiful capes with red on the top of their heads and make great looking mounts.

Ron is hoping to see this one in person (soon) as the rut in his area is about to begin.

When he started showing off the wonderful buck we all started trying to score it so we could have a feel for just how nice the buck really is for comparison sake.

What do you think he scores B&C gross?

Let's assume Ron is successful in harvesting that buck.

What does the person who guesses closest to the measured gross score win?Wink

Ted posts and Bigdaddy refines his score, SVT pulls a "Price is Right" trick and guess a dollar over and Lucytuma just throws a blanket out there lol.

Ok, I like where Ted is going with this, whoever gets the closest wins their choice of these two scopes.

To score this buck, it must be taken! correct? Good luck on your next hunt, Ron.

Chris, can you please do me a favor?  If I am the fortunate winner of this contest, I humbly ask that a Tasco World Class scope be substituted in lieu of the Vortex or Nikon.

In keeping with the spirit of Jeff's request if I win the scope will be submitted to Kickboxer for destructive testing.

154 7/8"

I have no idea really.  I haven't had many whitetails to practice on.  Or many deer big enough that I have shot to really bother with scoring it.
