First post, but have been lurking here for years. I have learned volumes of valuable info from the members of this site.

I decided to purchase the SS 1-6 scope last week to round out my hog gun, and stumbled on this killer deal:  http://swfa.com/SWFA-SS-HD-1-6x24-Geissele-Trigger-Surfire-60rd-Mag-P64247.aspx

I haven't seen it mentioned on the forum yet, so if this is a dupe, my apologies. However, SWFA has a special combo package that includes a 3 gun Geissele trigger and a 60 round Surefire magazine along with the 1-6. It saves more than $200 over purchasing them seperately.

If you were on the fence (as I was for the last couple of months) this might be the deal to nudge you over.

Wow, that is a good deal!

If I needed a trigger...might be worth doing it  just to have the trigger for next time.

I am not familiar with this trigger, but the guys at Wilson Combat told me that their three gun trigger is great for three gun events. But not the best choice for other types of shooting. I wonder if it would be the same with this trigger.

Welcome to Optics Talk.

Yes, that is a great deal indeed. I have the Wilson Combat TTU single stage in my pig and love it.

Having never shot 3-gun, I'm not sure what that means.  I do have that trigger and love it, very clean break, 3 pounds or therabouts, love the treigger blade.

I also have a Wilson TTU, am on my second actually (first went full auto, which is not cool!)

I do use KNS non-walking, non-rotating pins on my Geissels but they aren't needed on Wilson units.

My WC went 'rogue' on my BIL once while shooting my AR too. I had forgotten that happened to you too, RC.

If I remember correctly the 3 gun WC trigger was more prone to bump fire than the other ones. But it was last winter that I was checking on them. BTW there are 4 different WC triggers. Also I went with a JP complete lower with their trigger.
