Oregon, as well as any of the top 4 SEC teams would have beat the living bat snot out of ND in similar fashion. Sure, ND was undefeated, but despite early claims that their schedule was tough, most of their competition didn't end up proving to be all that good, and they barely squeaked by in a couple games against mediocre teams. 3 OT's needed to beat a crappy Pitt team? Really?
For whatever reason, the sports media has some sort of irrational, homoerotic fascination with ND. Nearly every year, we hear about them supposedly "turning the corner," "reviving the legacy," and other such horsesh**. ND has now officially lost their last 9 bowl appearances. They are perennially the most overrated team in all of college football, as this table proves:http://preseason.stassen.com/over-under/teams.html
