What's out there for this caliber as far being purpose built for the .17hmr. I've seen the BSA sweet 17's, are they any count?

If you enjoy regret and self-loathing, get a BSA.
By "purpose built", do you mean BDC or reticle with drop? What's your budget? How far away will the target be? Do you have a 17 or is this an academic discussion? |

If they sill got them this would be a nice low priced option. |

I have a sweet 17 on mine, and for the money..........oh never mind it's still a bsa. I wish I'd have spent the money and bought something else. I may end up with a SS 10x HD on it. I do like the Vortex option though.

Well,,,my question came about because several people around this area are buying CZ 452 .22LR's for competitive shooting. My boss just got one and I really liked it, except I've got enough .22's and would prefer one in .17hmr if I were to buy one. Yes, I was refering to a bdc for the .17hmr (sweet .17 type setup, just better optics). 200 yard max. Under $500 on the scope. This is academic at least for now. Thanks for the input gents. |

Bushnell has a 3.5-10x36 thats calibrated for the 17HMR. Has adjustable objective and elevation adjusts out to 175yards. I have one on my savage HMR but don't even use the BDC. Wish I would have picked up a 3-9 with better glass instead.

Maybe a Leupold or Vortex 4-12x40? Just a thought.
