Which glue do you guys use to glue in the inserts in carbon arrows? A friend gave me some hot glue and said it was great stuff, but the guy at the archery shop told me to use 2 part epoxy. Needless to say, I am confused.

Most folks use Goat Tuff.  It's expensive, but I've not heard many folks talk about failure.

Edit:  Full disclosure...I keep hotmelt in my box for emergencies.  I've never had one pull out using it, either.  I have arrows built with both.  I like the hotmelt because it's quick, fixable, and tunable at camp with my silver flames.  This year I have switched to GT Kinetic XT's.  The "outserts" are supposedly self-centering, so tuning is almost unnecessary. Plus, the arrows are narrower in diameter, heavier, and stiffer.  The end result is that my velocity is down, but my velocity past 30 yds is up (heavier arrow more momentum).  End of the day, either one will probably work.  Good luck.

Clean arrow with alcohol and use a little of this stuff. Just don't get any on you.

I think I am going to hot-glue a few together, and order the other stuff. I need to get shooting...
