I need to buy a new pair of glasses and was wandering which works best for hunting with  a scope ?
Any thoughts ?
I have no line bifocals now, and  I was wandering if lined bifocals are any better ? Cool

I have progressive bifocals without the lines. I did have the lines in some safety glasses. The progressive are easier on my eyes when transitioning from magnification to no mag.
It doesn't matter if I had the lines, or not, it takes some time to adjust to using a scope.

Before I went with contacts I got a pair of glasses w/o bi-focals specifically for hunting.  They had no metal frame on the bottom of the lenses.  Some type of clear clear string, like nylon, held the lenses in.  Worked GOOD because without the frame on the bottom it eliminated the problem I had of ones with frames obstructing my view when sighting my bow.

My dad has hunted with trifocals for years without a problem.  He has had lined and no lines.  Personal preference I guess.

A friend of mine has trifocals - he doesnt enjoy them.  I have both a pair of lined and non lined bifocals and I usually use the non lined ones.
