I just bought a Swarovski Z6i and I exposed it to a fair amount of dust(windows down dirt road). Everytime I zoom in and out I can hear the grinding of fine grit. Any ideas on how to clean? Thanks,

Get a can of compressed air and blow away the grit.  You can buy the compressed air at computer stores, camera stores, large dept. stores.

Hot water and some mild detergent. Then use some silicone based lubricant. regular gun oil will deteriorate the o rings. I hope this works for you. It has for me in the past.

Good information, though I currently don't have this problem, I'll store the solution in my memory bank.  Simple but good.

Ditto

One season on the books (20+ days of hard hunting) with my 2-12x50. Zero issues other than freezer space and a lighter wallet. Wink
