Going on a low recoil air rifle 6-18 Pro-Air vs 6-18 Trophy; which is the better choice?  I have had the opportunity to look through the Pro-Air and noticed a 'fish-eye' effect at 6x.  I have not had the opportunity to look through the 6-18 Trophy.

look at my other post, and remember, the higher power isnt usable if the scope isnt clear enough to see at X yards.

Only experience with one of each.  Trophy seemed fine.  Pretty good all the way around.

The ProAir had parallex problems that were hard to adjust out.  It also had the fish eye you

refer to in the one example I had seen.  Also seemed to shift point of aim with power change.

It's hard to say.  What makes one better for me might not for you.  The Trophy is optically better but only slightly....mostly noticable in low light conditions.  I like the Simmons because it is a little shorter, has 1/8 moa target style adjustments and is $60. less.

Bushnell Trophy 6-18x40.....$199.95

Simmons Pro-Air 6-18x40.....$139.95
