Does anyone have any experience withe the Zeiss 3X eyepiece? I am considering purchasing one and I would appreciate any feedback on the product. Would I need a tripod with the tripler? I have 8 power binoculars, Zeiss Victory. Thanks everyone! Brian

It is best to use it on a rest or tripod.  Light transmission is significantly diminished.  It can also be used as a 3x monocular by its self and it really works well by its self.  Once combined with a binocular it is average at best.  It can come in handy in a pinch but I would not rely on it or use it in lieu of a spotting scope.
