Dont do it the Python is worth a lot more in original condition. Buy an Encore pistol and put a scope on that. |

Jack Wiegand makes a mount that may work without drilling and tapping. Otherwise, I wouldn't make modifications or damage the finish on a Python, like Urimaginaryfrnd says.

I seem to remember a mount the fit on the vented rib, BUT I would be careful on any thing that may mess up that wonder finish...
