i can agree with buying the boss CR adapter as it is called i made the mistake once, it only took once to get the picture, but i shot an animal without plugs/muffs and it was a terrible experience, my ears rang for a good hour i bet after i shot the deer, you would be surprised how fast a guy can run a short stroke bolt too, not saying its any where near as fast but some people can bolt a rifle very quickly.

thanks for the input.

i have several scopes but thought the luepold century edition  3 9 40 with s & k mounts.

i dont hand load at this piont so any comments on an accurate reasonably priced round?

i have heard there are feeding issues occasionaly.

i will heed the advice on ear protection. thanks

i know my abolt like federal premium high energy's but they dont make those anymore but i shoot those just to build up some brass, then of course i loaded my own, but i would say federal is a safe choice.
