I currently have an Artemis 2100 3-12x50 illuminated and a Artemis 3000 3-12x56 Meopta riflescope.  I read on another forum that the "Meostar" scope was being marketed as having a more advanced lens coating than the Artemis models.  Is there any knowledge of this and what is the difference if any?

Meopta is apparently coming out with quite a few new products that no one seems to know about.  I saw one guy selling 1" Meoptas a couple of months back.  They don't list any of this stuff at their website and there is essentially zero advertising on their part.  Couple all of that with the fact the relatively few people carry the line and very few people in the general hunting public have even heard of the company.  I don't see how they are going to make any serious inroads into the U.S. market if they don't do a better job of getting the word out about their products.

I was at a show recently where I recieved a meopta brochure on their products. The meostar line does have a new coating that reduces light reflection to less than 0.2%.
