I've used several... Caldwell, Maglula, one I don't remember the name of, and now the Mag Pump.
Just WOW... Mag Pump is so fast and efficient it is hard to believe. The hopper must be assembled to the "pump", but that is easy. Then, just dump the ammo into the hopper (you don't have to position in one direction or other), insert a magazine into the slot and start pumping the lever. It is the almost too easy. I can't comment yet on dependability, only loaded two mags so far... but I have a bunch and I may load them all, just because it is so incredibly simple. One of the two mags I've loaded so far, I timed...no big rush, just a smooth steady load... took 25 seconds for 30 rounds. I'm sure it can go faster. There may be a better one out there somewhere, but this one fits every need I have... if it holds up. This is about as happy as I've ever been with an AR-related piece of gear.

So says the man that said he hates the AR.
You should try John Browning's 1918 belt loader. Yeah you have to position the rounds in the chute, but once you get started, it's like crack. You want more and more.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

There are still things I HATE about ARs. HOWEVER, technology improves everything over time and there are many things I have come to appreciate about ARs... retirement gives me time to explore things beyond just picking up and firing. I've spent a lot of hours refining things... which is not an advantage to me... and research leads me to things that improve upon "standard" functionality. Building my own leads me to finding the "good" in an "adequate" firearm.
I know, I'm nearing becoming a fan...when I find the performance, reliability, dependability I want/need...I'll be hooked. The Mag Pump helps...loading mags by hand is a PITA...

and then there are the ...... 80 grain bullets that have to be loaded single shot.
I may have to get one of those but I'm not sure the difference between the standard and the pro model

The PRO model has gears and action parts made of metal... probably a good idea if shooting thousands of rounds a week.
