Welp....I did a Chuck Roast masterpiece......naturally. I "seared" that sucker all right! It was on fire!!! Then Igave it my Kitchen Sink Meat Rub....and I drowned it in tomato-basil soup and diced tomatoes....and lots of pepper.... TO DIE FOR...... Edited by Son of Ed - April/08/2022 at 09:02 |

Of course I had my usual potatoes, carrots, and onions in the bottom of the crock pot and cooked them for four hours before I put the meat in....then I dumped on two cans of that soup and a can of chile-diced tomatoes, and then two cans of French-cut green beans and a quart of mushrooms.
Then I cooked THAT for five more hours. You can cut the beef with a wooden spoon! |

I've been cooking a lot of pork belly here lately. Family loves it on the smoker for a few hours and then finish it in the oven on broil to crisp up the skin.

I'm fixin' to do another chuck roast....(Bindenflation $5.99 /lb.....$15.86 for 2.92 lb..)
I'll set it on fire and stick it in the crock pot for five hours with all the trimmings and stewed tomatoes.... |
