I have been really thinking about getting a new pair of binos. Right now I am hunting with a pair of Nikon Monarch 5 12x42's and using a much older Nikon range finder. I also have a pair of Leupold Acadia 10x42's that are at Leupold for repair. I hunt in the moutains of Colorado most of the time but sometimes I'm out on the Eastern Plains. My budget is probably 2000 or so. I'm not opposed to buying used if they are in perfect condition. I have been looking at the Vortex Razor 12x50's,and the Zeiss Conquest 10x42's. If I get either one of those, then I need a new seperate range finder. I'm also looking at the Vortex Fury's wich have the range finder built in. I have heard a lot of negative things about Vortex but I have a Vortex Razor spotting scope that I just purchased used that seems fine to me but I haven't had it out much yet. Sorry to be so long winded. I sure would like to hear any input from you guys on what you think of Vortex and what you think of Binos with built in range firnders. Thanks Bryan
A .380 in your pocket, is better than a 45 in your truck~
