Hello,
I've never owned binoculars before but would like to get some that are inexpensive (preferably less than £70) and easy to carry around.  Enjoy looking at birds in my garden and will use when hiking.
Recommendations would be really helpful please as I have no technical knowledge whatsoever!

Some that I have been looking at:

Pentax 8x21 UCF R @ £49.99

Olympus 10x21 RC II @ £59.99

Pentax 9x21 UD @ £69.99

Also seen Bushell Prime 10 x 25 @ £69.99

Thanks

Olympus 10 x 21 RC II

Olympus 10 x 21 RC II

Olympus 10 x 21 RC II

Olympus 10 x 21 RC II

I would not buy the 8x or 10x with that small of objectives.  Images will be very dark and perfect eye placement will be very critical.  I have a 10x25 IOR monocular.  While it has good glass the image always seem quite dark and getting your eye perfect in that small exit pupil makes it more difficult to get a good image.

6x or 7x will be better.

Hokka, I would look at something like a 7x35 or 8x40 binocular.  The Nikon Aculon is a quality
lower priced binocular.

Don't start out with one of the small objective ones mentioned, they are not good optically, and will hurt
your eyes.
