Just spied one of these at our LGS (Ace Hardware of all places). Cute little rascal in .38/.357 mag. Anybody familiar with such? Could be a hoot to shoot.

A buddy of mine has one. It’s no fun to shoot!

I read a review on it a while back that said you would only want to shoot one if your life depended on it... but in that case you would want to have one.
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

If you could convince me to pull the trigger it would be with .38 wadcutters only.

A .357 model 60 S&W will let you know you did something and these don't have nearly as adequate of a grip.  I doubt the compactness makes up for the lack of practice.  If you need something that compact possibly a Ruger .380   The only derringer I have ever owned was a 22 mag Hi Standard and it was a great choice for what it was. If I ran across one today I would certainly want it. the rest of them not so much.
