Went to sight in this on Saturday. It was so far off the right that I will max out the MOA to get it straight(16" right  @ 100 yds) . Using Leupold QR rings and Leupold base. Never had this problem before. There is no other adjustment I can make. Also I don't know if it is good for a scope to be sighted in with the windage maxed out. Anybody else experience this? Suggestions?

The first thing I would suspect is the QR Rings and I would go get a set of cheap weaver rings for very little,  or at least some rings any brand that were not QR to test the theory and see if  the rifle does the same thing.   It might be possible to simply reverse which side of the rifle the quick release is on and this may solve the problem It is also possibe that the drilled and tapped holes in the barrel are off  (unlikely) but if they are that will take the rifle back to TC under their lifetime warrany.

The Zee rings should work with the base you have but the more sturdy system is the dual dovetail. These rings have a plastic insert and additional inserts can be ordered to shift the scope one direction or another - Call SWFA and tell them how much change you need and see if this will work for you.

I use this one piece ring/base set up on my omega with the leupold VX-I 3-9x40 scope. works for me ! I paid $75 from www.talleyscoperings.com several different heights, several different finishes. take a look ? it is bad to install any scope when its already bottomed out. something is wrong should be able to see it right off the bat that far off ?
