What you boys using? Got an x-sight on the way and thinking about what IR to pair with it. ATN IR850 Pro Long Range IR Illuminator or supernova is recommended several places but thinking that's just cause it's another atn product.

I've had both, kept ATN IR850 Pro Long Range IR Illuminator. The SuperNova is good, but too bulky/unwieldy. Of course, it may be a better fit with the 4k. I have the X-sight II, which is a CHUNK on its own. However, the ATN IR850 Pro Long Range IR Illuminator gives me 300+ yards... the Nova is a bit further range and a wider bright field, the adjustments are nice. For a Sackscratch like you, the Nova may be a good fit...

Just added the Uniquefire T20 to my helmet. This illuminator is a beast. It will light up trees across a field at 340 yds on low with a tightly focused beam. It has hi/med/low power and is focusable. All this for $46. It does have a downrange red signature but can be fixed by adding a filter. Impressive tool.
