Any opinion on a used sig kilo 2000 or 2200, or get a new 1400bdx?

Do you have or are you planning on getting the Sierra3 BDX? If not, I don't know what the 1400 BDX really "adds" for you. Sig2000 is a VERY nice LRF... I have one and really like it, but it is now older tech. Doesn't have ballistic drop, but does give you angle corrected range. I've not had hands on with the 2200, but getting to a shooting solution is a bit more complex than with the 2400... more things to do. The Sig LRFs are good, moderately priced tools. You can get better glass and features by spending more money, but the lower end stuff gives good results... much better than "reticle ranging" (though I still try to stay in practice doing that)... LRF is faster and easier. |
