I didn't get time this season to load any of these. But I was going to say: I've humanely shot an elk almost every year for the last 13 years with a .308 using 165-168 gr. bullets. Four the last four years, I've been loading Berger Classic Hunters in 168. However, I've wanted to switch to lead free and after watching the 150-grain (!!!) performance on a wildebeest @ 482 yards:
