I have a 3-9x40 BDC Nikon Omega muzzleloader rifle scope. Cannot find box. How can I tell if it is the 250 yard or 300 yard model ? I called Nikon customer service and gave s/n of scope on the bottom of scope they could not tell me as iof today. They Are still trying to answer me ? Cannot believe that they cannot tell by the s/n on scope. My shoulder cannot take 20 or 30 shots at the range to find out what BDC circle is what. I need a base number to work with on what circle means what yardage. Any one know how to tell the difference by looking at them ? thanks. Marty Marty

Thanks for the attachment but it does not help me to. Find out if I have the 250 yard model or the 300 yard model. Both have same number of dots and aoear have the same BDC reticle or very slight change. But that very slight change is 40 yards on the BDC circle thatvus why I need to know answer to this question. Both of my shoulders have had torn rotator cuff surgeries and am trying to keep from shooting extra sight in shots. Need to know which model I have so at least to have a basecto start with. Any one that knows difference by looking at the 250 and 300 yard model please let me know. Thanks. Marty Thanks. Marty

If you have problems of that nature maybe you shouldn’t be contemplating using 150 grain loads.

I can shoot 3 shots a day with no pain issues. The plan is to find someone on the forum that might know the answer to my question and does not like to hear himself talk or type about things he does not understand. It gets harder find these type of people every day. 🤐 Marty

Found info. Only way you can tell is get A copy of manual and compare reticles.
300 yard has a little wider spacing of BDC circles at bottom of reticle. Marty |
