I had to send my spotter back in for repair/replacement.  It was/is a great spotter optically and I am hoping they turn it around quickly.  They sent me a confirmation and a service order number when they received the spotter.  If they decided to replace it, there probably won't be a long wait for it.  Just wondering what you folks have experienced in their turnaround.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated; this was a relatively expensive purchase for me and I am nervous about it.

My spotter went back in a few months ago, I have the razor HD85mm with a 32X mil eyepiece. When looking at a light colored object, the field of view had thousands of very small black specs, clustered heavier around the reticle (or so it seemed) but everywhere. It did not impact image quality, but it bugged the hell out of me. No amount of cleaning, blowing with compressed air changed it.
I sent it in, got nothing from them in terms of documentation or update, then emailed a month or so later and was told it was shippied out the day before. I had it back in a few days, spots gone. Paperwork said “eyepiece services”, that’s it.

In the end, I am happy with the spotter and okay with the service. Some details would hav been nice, but that is nit-picking.

Edited due to damned Iphone autocorrect. My next phone will be a Samsung!

In the old days courtesy was a part of costumer service. An explanation of the problem could reduce the risk of the same problem reoccurring. IMO.

Just sent a AMG back and it was returned in a week. Who cares what was wrong with it as long as it's fixed. Was one of the best CS departments I have used, hands down.
