Purchased these binos from SWFA quite a few years back.
The red square and yardage illumination is now so weak in the binoculars that I can barely read it - even after changing batteries. Anyone have any idea what's going on? Thanks, REMF

Yes, you now need a new pair of $2000 binos or you need to use your current $2000 binos and get a separate LRF, I recommend the Zeiss. I told you 5 years ago this was gonna happen! Binos warranty for life, LRF for 3 years, I think.

IIRC when I had the Leica's there was a focus for the reticle (red square) that would help when that thing appeared dim. But I may be remembering wrong.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

But you still have a really good binocular even without the bell or whistle...
