I bought a Mossberg MVP Predator  on sale for $399.

http://www.mossberg.com/category/series/mvp-series/mvp-varmint-predator/

The trigger sucks but says its adjustable so I tied to adjust it the result is light or heavy it has an occasional hang fire as in pull the trigger the bolt snaps wait about 3 seconds and BANG.  I sent the rifle back but suspect all their triggers will eventually suffer recall.  The adjustment does not ever get reasonably light.

Whatever Probably an over exaggeration but I'd like to say it has a trigger pull adjustment range between 12 and 18 pounds - probably not that bad, but certainly nothing to write home about.
Other things I noticed is it uses a rather odd gay hand on the bottom of the bolt to pick up the cartridge out of an AR magazine.  The mag fit seems a bit sloppy but works. Accuracy seemed reasonably good considering the heavy trigger.  The included scope base is Weaver rather than Picatinny which seems odd in a rifle designed to use military magazines. Barrel length is 18.5 with a 1 in 9 twist and it will group 77 gr SMK reasonably well.

Suggest your be very careful in your choice should you consider this rifle.  Looking back I would NOT have bought it even at the $180 off sale price of $399.

Patented LBA Adjustable Trigger is user-adjustable from 2 to 7 pounds.

BS

Unless I got the only bad one they will likely all be recalled.

I have a mossberg .308. My tigger sucked as well. I would make adjustments and it did nothing. I bought a timney for it. Now it has an amazing trigger
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.
