Hey guys,
After a horrible experience with the p900, I bought the FZ300. IMO, you won't find a better point and shoot camera. Just amazing all around. A perfect amount of zoom (24X), f2.8, fairly light weight, and a terrific Leica lens. It's really good at night. You need very little light to get a very decent image! |

One question for you guys about the f-numbers (lens speed). I really like how this one does in low light, but I would consider upgrading for bigger sensor, more MP, etc. But I'm not sure how big of a difference there would be between a f2.8 and f4.0.
Cheers

Twice the amount of light is passed from lens to the sensor with using f2.8 vs. f4.

Thank you. It can be kind of confusing as it says that every 0.2 f means a 50% difference.
