Just installed one of these today, brand new, on my Kimber 82G .22, and tried it at the range. Very nice glass; crisp, razor-sharp reticle. Elevation was dead on at 50 yards; I was getting 3-round one-hole groups with plinking ammo. But when I went to 100 yards, the elevation turret knob would not click, and would only barely raise the POI, not enough to zero it, and only with extreme force to turn the knob. The closest I could get to zeroing was still four inches low. Useless for NRA smallbore F-Class. Frustrating and disappointing.

Talked with Sightron. They said to send the scope back to them for inspection/repair/replacement. Shipping today.

Did you have to pay for shipping? Or how did they do it?

I paid shipping to them; they paid for shipping back to me. After they received the scope, they sent an email with phone number, asked me to call. Had a very helpful chat with the technician working on my scope. They fixed it; works fine. I am very pleased with Sightron customer service. |

Did they say what was wrong? The guys at Sightron are good people. I always had very pleasant interactions with them.

You didn't say so I will ask. Did you use a torque wrench in in/lbs when mounting the scope?
