I have a 5-20X50 that I bought quite a while ago but never mounted,  it is one of the first batch.  I can not get the illumination to come on and I have checked it with a battery that I know is good.  What should I check next?

Thanks

Rico, we'll need special tactical equipment

I just hate to bug them this time of year if there is something simple I am missing.   I know they are real busy.

If the rheostat is not set on the higher levels of intensity, you may not be able to notice the illumination. The illumination is designed to be used in conjunction with NV intensifiers. If this is not the issue try rubbing the battery contacts with a cloth. If this does not help, contact SWFA with any questions before proceeding. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE.

Tell us about the illuminated feature being designed to work with night vision. First I heard this.
I am looking for a mount to have installed on my McMillan stock for NV. Got any suggestions?
