I have a single stag TTU on one AR and an SSA-E on another, like 'em both, need more time behind the SSA-E to make an honest recommendation. If it was a bolt rifle for hunting (m700, etc.) I would have installed Timney and called it a day like I normally do. :D

Kickboxer, what barrel are you using in your Grendel? I want to build one but I am not sure what barrel to use. I have looked at AA, JP, Odin Works, and the multitude of barrels at Precision Firearms.

The rainier arms ultramatch barrels are hand lapped shillen barrels. Be tough to beat that
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

Thanks, I have had good luck with Rainier barrels. Too bad they are out of stock. Most places seem to be out of stock.

Lilja also sells drop in barrels. http://riflebarrels.com/product-category/drop-in-barrels/ar/page/3/

There barrels are fantstic. I used to own one on a .308. It would consistantly shoot sub 3" groups at 700 yards. Easy 5 shot one hole groups at 100. It was an impressive barrel.

Barrel is Alexander Arms 14.5.  Chrome Moly/Chrome lined 1:9.5 twist.
