I'm considering purchasing my brother-in-laws Zeiss 10x30 Diafun binos. They're a couple of years old and appear to be in good shape. He bought them as a factory repaired unit from the Bargain Cave at Cabelas. My question: Will I be covered under the Zeiss warranty on these binos if there is a problem downstream??? Does my acquisition of these binos have to be registered with Zeiss? What would be the registration process, if necessary? Thanks very much for your help.

Zeiss products have a lifetime transferable warranty.

If they break just send them to Zeiss with an explanation of the problem, or you can register them online by clicking here.
