That's an even worse reflection on the "gunsmith's" basic competency and attention to details! He must've completely removed or greatly reduced the threads in the receiver, apparently while drilling out a piece of broken screw. |

The screw he took a photo of is a representation of the screw that damaged his scope. The screw that damaged his scope is still in the scope body.

Sorry but the gunsmith that did that professionally should be fined if not charged with criminal negligence and loose any type of gunsmith certification or licensing revoked!
