hey guys just picked up a new 700P, I have a stockpack(Eagles i think or something like it). I but it the comb is still to low, What type of padding would be best to add under it to raise it up some more? I just wondering what you all use.

Consider a karsten cheek piece. They are a good product that will give u the ability to adjust.

well i didnt really want to modify it, and because I plan on selling it down the road and putting the money towards a XLR element. Otherwise I would.

Then I would probably use something like this. If you get the thin stuff, then you can easily build it up under your stock pack until it is the correct height. Plus it will not damage your stock.

If its temporary, I'd put on some sort of fabric or nylon webbing material and black duck or gorilla tape over it neatly. Then it will clean off when you remove to sell with a little goo gone. It will be functional but not very visually pleasing.

FYI, for those considering the Karsten, make sure when you're drilling your holes that the cheekpiece top is parallel to the rifle bore. You don't want any cheek piece to be otherwise or it will negatively impact getting a consistent cheek weld.
