I've been looking for a scope for a new Tikka T3 and was seriously considering a Kahles until someone told me that they are not guaranteed "waterproof".  Is this true?  I've been looking through Kahles information but have yet to find an answer.

The T3 is a very solid rifle.  I have two of the stainless lite versions, one in 243 and the other in 270 WSM.  I have not yet shot the 243 but the 270 WSM is a definite deer killer.  It has a smooth action, good trigger, and I like the ergonomics.  I have heard that some people don't like the looks of the T3, but it is a very functional gun that weighs in just a bit over 6lb.  I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a purchase.  Thanks for the input on the Kahles.  I'll be looking for one to put on the 243.

All KAHLES scopes are machined and hardened aluminum tubes. They are nitrogen purged, waterproof, shockproof and fog-proof. They are all light in weight. If your not sure about this or other information, just pull up there web site and they will inform you what is correct or incorrect. www.khalesoptik.com
