Im wanting to buy a LRF that is under $300. I have never owned one before, but seeing as I am going to a rifle match next month, I think it will really help if I had one.

Im not looking for anything special, just something useable. It must be able to range up to 1000 yards. Are there any that anyone can suggest?

Not for less than $300. I'm not aware of anyone who makes a 1K range finder for that price.

The cheapest one, that I'm aware of is by Bushnell. The Scout DX.
This is a brand new item, they just introduced, so there are no reviews currently.

Thanks Skyler, after some more research I decided to purchase a Leica LRF 1200 that I am very happy with. Now if I could just figure out how to change the battery!

Perhaps a little late but I have been hearing a lot of very positive things about the Bushnell ARC 1300.  I have used the Fusion 1600 binos and the RF worked extremely well.

I have an ARC 1300 en route to test..
Will report back
