The air rifle is a gamo shadow 1000 (spring air) I have had two scopes on it but neither have worked. They were a power line 3-9x32 from daisy, the; the thing only cost $30.00, I should've known (I would'nt recomend it for a childs bb gun). The other: a bushnell sportsman 3-9x40, unlike the power line it did'nt fall apart; however, it will not stay zeroed in for more than four or five shots. I am thinking about a bushnell trophey 4-12x40. Will this scope work or should I just save my money and miss the bullseye on a budget? Thanks for any help

I've got the same problem staying zeroed with my cheapo BSA 4x32AD scope so I'm checking out the Bushnell Banner 4-12x40 that is a dusk and dawn scope recommended elsewhere. It's supposed to be designed for break-barrel air rifles like my RWS 34 .177 with a 1-piece RWS C-mount. You might like this scope for your Gamo springer.
